We are situated in a malaria free area with a sub tropical climate. Bring clothing appropriate to the time of year. An insect repellant is advisable. Should you plan on walking ensure you bring a rucksack, water bottle, hat, sun-block and appropriate footwear.

HARRIS CAMP

The camp is not electrified adding to the bush ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 6-plate gas stove and oven as well as a gas fridge/freezer and all pots, pans and utensils are provided. Hot water is powered through a gas geyser.  Although towels are provided, personal toiletries should be brought along.

Lighting is adequately supplied through a variety of sources although we do suggest a torch for the evenings. The best hardwood firewood in the North West is supplied as part of our bush clearing programme - a rare treat!! Please note that all good things take time and one can expect good coals to take upto 2 hours to be ready for cooking. We suggest bringing along a bag of charcoal just in case you need to feed those hungry small souls in a shorter period of time.

LEADWOOD HOUSE

Leadwood House is fully equipped with everything you may need for a self catering stay with the exception of towels. Upon arrival our staff will give you an orientation to familiarize you with all the workings of the various gadgets.

Please note that no children under 12 are permitted to use the snooker table and that we request all guests to observe normal etiquette when using the table. This includes washing hands before commencing a game, the removal of belts with sharp or hard buckles, no drinking or smoking over the table and sweeping off and covering the table when play is concluded. We appreciate your co-operation in this regard.
