3. Ukhutula Lion Farm is our next door neighbour and welcomes day visitors. You will hear the roar of lion from Cornwallis at night.
4. Hartebeestpoort dam is situated 40 minutes drive away, and offers, boat cruises, great African craft and flea markets, restaurants and pubs. An Elephant information centre and Elephant sanctuary offering walks and riding on African Elephants is also nearby
5. Also around the Hartebeespoort dam is the world famous De Wildt Cheetah Centre, Lesedi Cultural Village, a Dutch cheese farm, Cable car to the top of the Magalliesberg mountain range, reptile park, crocodile farm etc, etc.
