Cornwallis Game Ranch is situated in the North West Province in the district of “Brits”, only a 95km 1½ hour drive from Fourways, Johannesburg. The area is Malaria Free and close to excellent medical facilities should the need arise. The farm is aptly named after Capt. William Cornwallis-Harris the famous 19th century British explorer, hunter and artist who discovered the noble Sable Antelope right here.
Cornwallis is protected from invasive development by environmentally sensitive core values. The low impact facilities of Leadwood Lodge (10 guests) and Harris Camp (6 guests) allow our guests the opportunity of enjoying the open spaces exclusively at their leisure.
This truly is what makes the difference in a world where high density development is what drives the wheel. Not so at Cornwallis where limited guests are spoilt with close to 700 acres to explore in what truly represents the best preserved “bushveld savannah” of the province.
